Somerset: 12th November 2012 – Wyke Farms, the UK’s largest independent cheese producer and milk processor, today revealed the latest brand performance figures from Kantar World Panel (52 weeks to 30th September 2012). The data confirms a sustained 26% yoy growth, further cementing Wyke Farms as the leading Farmhouse cheddar brand in the UK, and the only independent company within the top 5 cheddar brands.
Wyke Farms undertook a complete re-brand this summer; the new packaging and brand identity was revealed in September and has so far resulted in a further 10% uplift in sales in most retailers.
The company are investing in promotional activity over the coming months to further increase brand awareness and promote the new look. This autumn, the advertising activities amounts to the largest print campaign yet for Somerset based Wyke Farms who plan to reach over 7 million ABC1 housewives with both magazine and bill board advertising.
