Milton Expands Hygiene Range Launching New Laundry Liquid Designed to protect highly sensitive skin

Plant based and hypoallergenic, New Milton Laundry Liquid has been formulated for babies, children and allergy sufferers

Bournemouth, UK –19th September 2017 – Milton, the leading expert in sterilising and hygiene, today announces the launch of its new Milton Laundry Liquid designed to ensure skin protection as well as thorough cleaning of clothes for babies, children, and the entire family.

Tough on stains like cereals, carrots, milk and grass, Milton Laundry Liquid is effective on whites, coloured washes, and all textiles from 30° to 95°C. Additionally, it has a gentle fragrance, is free from colourings and preservatives, making it a must-have product for parents.

Encased in a 1.5L easy-to-use bottle, with handle and dosing cap, one-third of the ingredients are of natural origin, including camomile extract which is known for its healing and soothing properties. Specifically recommended for sensitive, allergic and irritated skin, camomile has anti-inflammatory properties and is good at removing red blotches, skin irritations, as well as reducing allergic skin reactions, like Eczema and Dermatitis.

At birth, the top layer of a baby’s skin is very thin and easily damaged. Infants are born with a developing epidermis that is more permeable and more reactive to the environment through the early years of their lives. The infant skin barrier does not fully mature until at least one year of age, meaning the distribution and transport of water through the superficial layers of the skin creates a need for protection of their skin.

Specialists recommend the use of gentle and hypoallergenic formulas, which are adapted to baby’s sensitive skin. In line with the Milton range, Milton Laundry Liquid is hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested, making it ideal for babies, children and allergy sufferers.A large number of babies and children suffer from Dermatitis and Eczema, and the World Health Organisation estimates that one in two people will suffer from allergies by 2050.

Directions for use: Milton Laundry Liquid can be used in washing machines or for hand washing. Just one capful (40ml) of liquid placed in the machine drum/sink per load.

The Laundry Liquid retails at £5.59 for 1.5L (21 washes) and is available from Ocado.

The Milton product range is available nationwide and is available at Boots, Mothercare and Superdrug and all major retailers such as Sainsbury’s, Asda, Tesco and Morrisons. Also available at many high street chains and pharmacies.
