Global online marketing company to announce plans for the first US zanox Campus, promoting monetization 2.0, during the Plug & Play Expo in San Francisco
San Francisco/Berlin – May 5, 2009 – zanox, a global leader in performance-based online marketing, will announce the opening of the company’s first US-based zanox Campus – a new open meeting point in Silicon Valley for publishers, start-up businesses and developers – this week during the San Francisco Plug & Play Expo on May 7, 2009. Designed as a ‘Think Tank’ for modern Web-based business models, projects and partners in Silicon Valley, the zanox Campus will ultimately serve to support new online talent and drive innovation. This addition follows the successful launch of the first zanox Campus in June 2008 at the company’s headquarters in Berlin, a city known for being a European hub for start-ups. Together, the two Campuses will serve as an open exchange space for all zanox partners across the US and Europe.

Overall, the new Campus will help zanox further strengthen its innovation development and publisher focus in the US, as well as support the company’s monetization 2.0 concept with the promotion of innovative business models to monetize the Internet. The official opening of the new Silicon Valley zanox Campus is scheduled for June 1, 2009. Once complete, the Campus will be open for all zanox business partners and friends, as well as available for events, projects and training sessions.
zanox recently kicked-off its $2 Million zanox Application Store Contest during the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco. The contest will award the winning business models an investment of up to two million US-Dollars for the best monetizing application based on zanox Web Services. With the upcoming launch of the zanox Application Store, developers will be able to introduce and distribute their innovative applications directly to zanox’s global network of more than one million publishers and over 2,000 international advertisers worldwide.
The zanox Publisher Initiative
The zanox Campus and the $2 Million Dollar Application Store Contest are part of the zanox Publisher Initiative, which helps publishers in the zanox network to easily monetize their business ideas with enhanced services, features and support for all zanox partners.
