Somerset, England – March 17, 2009 – Wyke Farms, the UK’s largest independent cheese producer and milk processor, has announced plans to reach over 10 million consumers per day with their most expansive print and broadcast advertising campaign yet. Scheduled to run throughout the month of April, the Somerset-based company’s campaign will include TV advertising during the popular GMTV slot as well as print advertising in the Daily Mail.
The campaign focuses on the provenance, quality and the traditional values behind the Wyke Farms brand. Family –run Wyke have traditionally used packaging and print advertising, to communicate their unique experience of over 100 years of family farming and have expanded into broadcast advertising as they continue to be the fastest growing brand within in the category.
The new TV advert tells the story of Ivy Clothier, Wyke’s founding family member who developed their original farmhouse cheddar recipe in 1902. In addition, the advert shows how their farming processes have evolved over the years to keep up with demand as well as referencing the numerous awards achieved by the distinctive Wyke Farms taste.
