New Mild and Mature ‘By Nature’ range is the first organic offering from Wyke Farms
Somerset, England – September 2008 - Wyke Farms, the UK’s largest independent cheese producer and milk processor, announce the arrival of their new organic farmhouse cheddar range. Launching with ‘Mild By Nature’ and ‘Mature by Nature’ flavours, the Soil Association certified organic cheddar will be available in 300g packs from selected retailers this month and widely available this autumn.
The organic milk used to make the ‘By Nature’ range is collected daily from Wyke’s local farms where the cows graze on fresh natural pastures, rich in a variety of grasses and wild plants including red clover. Organic milk is believed to be higher in antioxidants and contains up to 71% more Omega 3 than conventional milk .
