• Parents are increasingly concerned with creating a safe environment for their newborns, as searches for protective bed rails are up 114 percent and crib canopies up 990 percent.
• Top colors include gray, white and other neutral colors to create a soothing atmosphere.
• The most searched-for character is Winnie the Pooh, which could explain why orange bedding is this year’s must-have for the nursery.
