New Plantronics M100™ Dual Microphone Headset Combines Excellent Sound and Smart Design

Lightweight Bluetooth headset delivers natural audio for THE MULTI-TASKING GENERATION

IFA, Berlin, Germany – 3rd Sept, 2010 – Plantronics(R) (NYSE:PLT) today announced the M100 Bluetooth(R) Headset, an ultra-slim, lightweight headset that features advanced technology to deliver clear and natural audio. The M100 combines dual-microphones, wind-noise reduction and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for an enhanced communication experience on both sides of the conversation. This is the first of a range of smart headsets that are geared for the growing smartphone userbase and is encased in environmentally-sound packaging featuring a new brand identity.

The Plantronics M100 is very easy to set up and use. It includes convenient status voice alerts for remaining talk-time, low-battery, mute and connection status. iPhone users can monitor headset battery levels on their screen. Additionally, the M100 automatically adjusts sound levels when moving in and out of noisy environments, allowing users to always be hands-free and able to focus on the task in front of them.

Price and Availability

The M100 has a price of £49.99 (inc VAT) and will be available in September from consumer electronics retailers.
