Ed Clancy, Olympic Gold Medalist to join London leg of the 7-Man Bike Charity Ride this weekend

Members of the public are invited to join three times world champion Ed Clancy on board the Juice Doctor conference bike this weekend in London

London, Friday 20th August 2010: Ed Clancy,Olympic Gold Medalist and three times world champion, will be joining the London leg of the charity bike ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End this Saturday (21st August 2010). It’s not just any bike ride – the group is riding the ‘Juice Doctor Co-Bi’ – a seven-seater circular bike all in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The Juice Doctor Co-Bi team are set to arrive in London on Friday 20th August evening. Ed Clancy will be joining the team on Saturday 21st August when they will be in and around the Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square areas. The team will be leaving London to continue their journey south on Sunday 22nd August. In addition, the Juice Doctor team will be supporting the riders during their time in London by supplying plenty of Juice Doctor drinks. Members of the public are invited to come and sample the drink and jump on board the bike.

The team includes some local talent: Ed Greig, (25) and Jack Cole (24) who both live in Brixton and Chris Browne (25) who is at Sandhurst Military Academy. The rest of the team is made up of Dylan Williamson (21), Kate Brown (23) , Ian Clegg and Sarah Outen (who is the youngest person, at 25, and the first woman to row solo across the Indian Ocean – more info -http://sarahouten.co.uk)
