Founded in 2008, Benjoy was developed by Michelle Daniells who discovered a gap in the market while looking for healthy snack food for her own son. Michelle built a team of credible experts in children’s nutrition and health, nutrition science and food science to help her develop a range of innovative food products. Benjoy announces new distribution with Waitrose

Benjoy children’s food grows distribution every month since launch

January 24th 2010: Benjoy, the children’s nutrition company, today announce new distribution with Waitrose.  Benjoy Munchcups™ will be available from selected Waitrose stores from February 2011.

Benjoy launched into retail in November with a new range of healthy snacks for young children packaged in the Munchcup™, the first anti-spill, “less mess” packaging of its kind anywhere in the world.

Each of the Benjoy foods offers age-appropriate nutritional values by incorporating 100% natural ingredients with essential nutrients commonly lacking in young children’s diets. The range includes freeze dried fruit slices, wholesome multigrain bites, multigrain munchers and mini vegetable crisps. Four of the five Benjoy products contain no added salt or sugar at all and the Multigrain Munchers have very low levels.

Benjoy’s founder Michelle Daniells used her experiences as a mother to develop the unique range of nutritious and convenient snack foods for toddlers and pre-schoolers. After combining efforts with the expertise of the current team including a clinical dietician, a nutritionist, a food technologist and a panel of mums, Benjoy Nutrition was born.

In addition to Naturebotts and Naturally Good Food.  Benjoy is available from Ocado and in store at the larger Morrisons.
